1. Anuj Singhal joins Bloomberg UTV as Stocks Editor



Bloomberg UTV, India's premier business news channel has made yet another high-level induction to its acclaimed Editorial team. Anuj Singhal has been appointed as the channel's Stocks Editor. Anuj joined Bloomberg UTV on August 22nd and would be based out of the Mumbai office.

 An avid blogger, Anuj writes a blog titled, 'The Spotlight with Anuj Singhal' where he focuses on some important insights into individual stocks and market trends. Apart from this, he has been the face of the F&O market in India, having started tracking it in 2003. He was also doing daily updates on the F&O markets and putting together the graphics structure for the F&O coverage on another business news channel.
An Economics graduate from the Delhi University, Anuj started his career as a Research Analyst right after his MBA in Finance. He ended an illustrious stint with CNBC TV18 as Senior Editor, overseeing the markets band coverage.



2. Manoj Padmanabhan joins Neo Cricket as National Head, Ad Sales

Neo Sports Broadcasting has roped in Manoj Padmanabhan forNeo Cricket as National Head, Ad Sales. He will report to Raju Udupa, executive vice-president, network sales.
In his new role, Padmanabhan will foster his skills to maximize revenues on the India cricket properties that will be telecast on the channel this year, and the next.
Commenting on his appointment, Raju Udupa, EVP – Network Sales, said that, Padmanabhan was known for his sharp acumen and sales expertise and he was confident of Neo achieving greater heights.
Prior to this development, Padmanabhan was working withSomerset Entertainment Ventures (Singapore), where he was the mastermind behind structuring and developing a business model for the Sri Lanka Premier League. He has also worked in another popular Sports Channel, Ten Sports where he he worked as a Director in the ad sales division. Along side these stints, he has also served at other major media brands namely, Bloomberg UTV, Zoom and The Times of India.
On joining Neo Cricket, Padmanabhan said that, with the best cricket content for the next few years, he looked forward to creating value for the advertisers and maximizing revenue for the organization.

3.Ajit Thakur joins Star India to head Star One

 Former Sony Entertainment Television, Asia Business Head, Ajit Thakur has joined Star India to now head its Hindi GEC(General Entertainment Channel) Star One. Thakur will be taking charge of the position which was lying vacant since Nikhil Mirchandani left Star One in May this year.
In the new role, he will now report to Sanjay Gupta, COO, Star India and he will responsible for developing the channel-viewer relationship by further working on channel's content.
Thakur left Sony TV in March this year after being with the company since July 2008. During his tenure at the network, he helped push the flagship channel to the number four position in India ratings.
Thakur started his stint with the media industry as chief operating officer at UTV Pictures and he has also worked for a popular production house, Balaji Motion Pictures as its CEO.
